Anyone coming to the Koko? What's the venue like? I feel like I'm in London every other month! Probably because I am, hehe The things I do for music. Hopefully won't end up in completely the wrong place this time. Went to see Cory Chisel at The Slaughtered Lamb and ended up in Camden instead of the Barbican. Me and my friends were convinced it was in Camden and we have no idea why, haha!

Hehe, I remember when I took my Boyfriend to London, Elena. He'd been before but never really seen much of London because he went for a working week. London is one of my favourite places so I wasted no time in dragging him around and squeeing about all the areas of London I love or have been to. Where I'd seen shows and where I'd met Brendan. Poor guy! The things I make him do!
Judy, just as I said that about it being in Camden I just KNEW we were in the wrong place, haha! And you were all, "Oh my God, NO!"
Maybe we'll see you there, Elena!

The problem with boyfriend is that he can't speak English at all lol so I am joking all the time about leaving him in the middle of the city with no passport, no dictionary, no phone, no money... (maybe no trousers or drugs in his pockets so he can learn a little about crime vocabulary lol)
It's been 2 or 3 years since I was in London for the last time, I and a friend are planning something for Beatles week in Liverpool next September as well... let's see.. crossing fingers I really want to come back there it's one of my fav places on Earth!

Oh so Koko IS in Camden then? Lol. Good to know!
Wow just googled that one too, freaking massive! 1,410 capacity?! Blimey!
For all the times i've been to London for these musicians, i still really don't feel like i've 'been to London' properly. I mean, apart from Camden, which i should know like the back of my hand by now, haha.

Not been to Koko , the nearest tube station is Mornington Crescent, which my husband thinks is hilarious ( sorry, won't mean anything to any-one who doesn't listen to Radio 4 , it's a running joke of many years' standing on I'm sorry I haven't a Clue ) I'm under instructions to take a photo of it.

Someone told me that taking pictures on the Tube was illegal. I'm unsure whether to believe it.

Someone told me that taking pictures on the Tube was illegal. I'm unsure whether to believe it. In my city it depends on the artist...

Yep! It's something to do with terrorism, if you get caught by security you have to delete your pictures... I've seen it happen!

I doubt that very much in UK, given there's a picture of it on Google Earth and this site has photographs of all London tube stations. www.londonstation.com/] In fact there is nothing in UK law preventing you taking a picture in a public place so even if the underground itself is technically private there's nothing to stop you taking a photo of the outside or any other public building in London.
