I am seein Benson in 2 weeks and am so excited! So this tour seems like its not gonna be an acoustic tour like Ireland, do u think hes gonna play songs like "the swamp" and "baby on a rug" like he did there? I personally wanna hear songs like Emma J, House in Virginia, and Unfortunate Guy... Do u think there is any way to get him to play these songs? haha What does everyone wanna hear on this tour?

I'm not really sure if the new band will have had time to learn the songs (Brendan included as it was just him and Mark before), the composition and arrangement and stuff... You can always hope though! We always joked about The Swamp being a really odd choice that Brendan would never be able to learn, he thoroughly shocked us!

Have there been any reviews of this tour posted anywhere? I'm curious to see how Jon & Ken of the Posies keep up the energy to do essentially two sets

Having just seen the Chicago show, the energy and performances were great!

Its crazy! This was my 3rd time seein him and it was by far the best! He really looked like he was having a blast and Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow from the posies as a backup band were terrific! They added something new to every one of his songs. And he surprised me by playing "I'll Never Tell" and "Happy Most of the Time". "Life in the D" and "Cherries" were also some quite awesome surprises.
