OK, so this is a old chestnut that many of us know, but seeing as this is a new board, I have to post it afresh!
That is, Brendan's write-up when he was voted 17th Best Dressed Man of the Year by Esquire magazine.
"It's clear just from the video for "Steady, As She Goes," the single from the supergroup the Raconteurs, Benson's songwriting collaboration with Jack White, which of the two Detroit power-pop rockers exerts more influence on style. When Benson wears a blazer, he's wearing a blazer--not an ironic outfit (e.g., the all-red outfit, the all-white outfit, the all-black outfit). And not since Honest Abe has anyone pulled off a stovepipe hat."

Funniest of all though is that one place below Brendan in 18th place is a 'junior senator' by the name of Obama!
