I absolutely adore Brendan's Guild!! We were absolutely giddy as hell when they set up the stage for the first Brendan UK tour date in October and the Guild was brought on!!! And even better there were twin Guilds! The Guild had an evil twin, hehe. There's just something about the guitar that is so beautiful. I love it's old, battered look and the image of Brendan playing it is just so Brendan to me. It doesn't seem the same when he's playing any other electric guitar. I hope he brings it back for March but I understand he doesn't want to play it too much and break it! I even bought a similar model for myself as I just adore the design of it. Here's a bit of an arty picture of my boyfriend playing it -

Ahh the joys of 'flailing every five minutes for the next five minutes' about him bringing back the Guild. HAHA! Ooh i hadn't even though about him not bringing it back for this tour. Surely he will? He brings it to the UK every time he comes, even when he hasn't been playing it anywhere else. I think he knows how much we love it! Hehe. For those of you who didn't get to see the blonde Guild's evil twin..... I think its just because thats been Brendan's guitar since even when i saw him long before The Raconteurs, its just ingrained as part of his sound. Even when Troy is sound checking it, it just 'sounds' like Brendan. Y'know? ;D

HAHAHAHAHA, this just cracked me up! I forgot about 'flailing every five minutes for the next five minutes' *adds to tour quotes*
The Guild. <3 Such a pretty guitar, and I agree, whenever I see a Guild it immediately remind me of Brendan.

I'd been looking for a Guild similar to his for years now. Almost snagged one on eBay, but those things are very tricky and expensive to come by. When I saw Brendan at the Troubadour here in Los Angeles, CA he didn't bring out either of the Guild's!
