[REC] is a masterpiece!! The second part is awful but the first one is incredible and so scary... also my block of flats is almost the same as the one of the film so just imagine when the lift breaks down and I have to go upstairs and the light turns off!!! I haven't seen Paranormal Activity yet, but I read really bad opinions about it. I forgot to mention that I love Italian Horror films especially Dario Argento's I have only seen the first one. Usually, the second one isn't as good as the first one, in my opinion. I will check the Italian films out!

I love High Fidelity too... and I love the comedies associated with Judd Apatow as a way to unwind. That being said, my all-time favourite movie is The Crow. I've been obsessed with it since I was 12. I think its the greatest love story ever put to film... which explains why I'm happily single, I guess. The one film that is getting a lot of play in my house at the moment (other than the kid's flicks), is Across The Universe.... but I think that might have a lot to do with the Beatles drinking game that tends to accompany it.

I watched this film the other day called The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, and it was a really sweet tale despite my dislike for old films. As the title suggests, it's about a ghost and a woman, the ghost was an old sea captain who tells his memoirs to Mrs. Muir who writes a book and earns a pretty penny from it. They fall in love, she then falls for someone else (who's actually married with kids), he disappears, and then returns to her when she dies and they drift off happily into the mist. Also, the woman who plays Mrs Muir is ridiculously beautiful.
