Really, really great song.
Brendan, you've always been so consistent. I was happy to hear all the "post Raconteurs" stuff. Really good and "undiluted".
-Been a fan for many years, met briefly, you've even met my daughter before on another occasion.
This song is so good- topical for me right now, almost bad for me to listen to it! I've heard it about 20 times tonight.
Deep. Great. Thanks.

Alright, I'm gonna reply to my own post.
Seriously- This is probably one of the best pop rock songs ever. This holds up with the best Elton John compositions in his career.
I'm one of those BB fans that have been mystified at the lack of major crossover success. But ya know, all things have purpose.
And guess what? You get to do what you want and the gems that are coming from that luxury are rock solid. The meter and timing in this performance are so good. Everything in this song (in life?) happens exactly when you want it to happen. I had that experience the first time I heard it.
I'm thinking of buying a ticket to come to Nashville for the next show.
